Well in less than 12 hours time I will be able to get my paws on Mr Lorakeet (my other half). I know that the general public may not have the excitement about that that I do but its my blog so I’m saying it anyway! I can’t wait to have him home again :] So to celebrate I did some ‘new home’ pics… although, true to my furniture-addicted-ways this is not actually the home Cad will return to. I’ve been working on our new home for a few weeks (see a sneak preview from last week here: Oh, how I miss you!) however when I saw this skybox by Apple Fall I fell in love with it… I love the light airy spaces and the Parisien views, its classic simple beauty, which I love – so I bought it so that the second I want to redecorate (knowing me, less than a week from now) I’ll have it to hand. It’s also on sale right now (at Fameshed!) so that helped my decision ;]
For once my blog post actually contains new things (I know! Shocking right?!) – these gorgeous new boots are Blake by Glam Affair, I’m wearing them in soft pink but they are a naturally avant-garde look so of course they come in a variety of runway colours including my other favourite pair in black. They are spikey but with sensual curves, a perfect juxtaposition for a modern woman. The hair is new too, I popped over to Burley on the Marketplace and they gave me a trim and dyed me an even lighter blonde. I don’t know how long I’ll be blonde for but I am enjoying it! The eyeliner I’m wearing is from Glam Affair and is also new today, it’s not actually a tattoo layer! It is mesh (I believe!) and part of their couture eyeliners and lashes range that is also out now.
